We encourage all attendees to use the free parking at the Riverside County Fairgrounds, where a shuttle service will run all day between the fairgrounds and the festival.

For rideshare and guest drop-off at the Indio Tamale Festival, head to the corner of Palm Street and Miles Avenue. This area is accessible from both the south and west directions, making it convenient for Uber and Lyft drop-offs.

The Indio Tamale Festival features a variety of live entertainment, including performances by local musicians, traditional Mexican dancers, Escaramuzas, luchadores from East Los Wrestle League, and a wide range of children’s performers like magicians and bubble trick shows.

Yes, dogs are welcome at the festival! There’s a fenced dog park next to the festival grounds, perfect for an off-leash potty break. While exploring the festival, please keep your dog on a leash at all times.

This Indio International Tamale Festival is a free admission community event at Miles Avenue Park. Street parking in the neighborhoods surrounding the Park is not regulated and available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Please adhere to all posted signs and notices. Roads in the immediate vicinity of the event will be closed to vehicle traffic. To avoid searching for neighborhood parking, park for free at the Riverside County Fairgrounds a few short blocks away. Free shuttles depart the Fairgrounds every 15-20 minutes. Limited accessible parking is available at the Fairgrounds on a first-come, first-serve basis. All guests must be able to transfer from their mobility device and navigate a few stairs to board the shuttle. Shuttles are unable to transport mobility scooters, non-collapsible wheelchairs, and other rigid devices. Rideshare and guest drop-off is available at the corner of Palm Street and Miles Avenue, accessible from the south and the west. The Tamale Fest is laid out primarily around paved streets, parking lots, and a concrete perimeter walkway. Some booths and attractions are only accessible on grass. Attractions may have specific requirements for riders; please consult posted signage at each attraction.
